BrowserProStudio / Frame Intake

Get the pro frame to the desk while the story is happening.

The deadline should not force a professional photographer to switch to phone imagery. Connect a compatible camera through your phone's hotspot and send to the FTPS login set up for that photographer and assignment. Your phone supplies the connection. Your camera supplies the image.

Pre-release: Frame Intake is in development and is not yet available for live assignment use.

Built for people on deadline

Professional images belong in the first edit.

When moving camera files is the slow part, the best frame can miss the first deadline. Frame Intake is designed to make camera delivery part of live coverage.

Photographers in the field

Use your phone's hotspot to get a compatible camera online, then send selected images over FTPS. A private browser form is another route when camera transfer is not the right fit.

Photo editors and picture desks

Create an assignment, set up a photographer's camera login for that assignment, and review validated arrivals together. Download originals for your edit.

News, sports and event teams

Coordinate multiple photographers around a deadline, with assignment boundaries and storage your organization controls.

From sideline to picture desk

A clear route for every assignment.

  1. 01 / Prepare
    Open the assignment.

Connect a private S3 bucket, choose photographers, and create a time-limited FTPS login for each photographer on the assignment or a browser form.

  2. 02 / Send
    Move images during coverage.

Connect a compatible camera to your phone's hotspot, then send over its preconfigured FTPS login. Browser contributors can use a private form. Both routes lead to the assignment's workspace storage.

  3. 03 / Review
Put verified images in front of the editor.

Completed images are checked before appearing in Arrivals. Editors review previews and download original files to work in their preferred editor.

At the final whistle

Send the rest of the game.

Use the assignment upload form to submit a batch of photos after coverage. Your editor sets the form limit, up to 30 images per submission. Or use your photographer's assignment FTPS login in Cyberduck, FileZilla, or Transmit to send a larger set. Both routes lead to the same assignment inbox for validation.

Your bucket, your originals

Use your own S3 storage. Keep the camera credentials separate.

Connect a private Amazon S3 or compatible bucket to your workspace. Photographers receive assignment-scoped FTPS access, never your S3 keys. Frame Intake bridges camera transfers to the bucket and preserves the capture original for authorized editors.
